UC San Diego Expanded Core Visioning Study

The Expanded Core Visioning Study examines the impact of both new and planned development on UC San Diego’s West Campus that must seamlessly integrate into the existing fabric of the older, historic buildings. Areas of focus included efficient integration of the new with existing structures, breathing in new life and connectivity between existing elements, identifying new areas for developments as well as the planning of a new of “Living and Learning” core that will create a vibrant student housing complex within a mixed-use center that includes major academic programs, classrooms, and dining services.
