Omaha Pedestrian Bridge
Omaha, NE
The City of Omaha set ambitious plans to revitalize a 31-acre park which sits within the heart of the city. Known as The Heartland of America (HOA), the park redevelopment revitalized existing buildings to include added amenities, breathing new life into the park. At the heart of this project is the Omaha Pedestrian Bridge, a new 200-foot bridge that spans the park and connects to the Farnam Pier at the edge of the Missouri River. The Farnam Pier itself is a cantilevered overlook suspended over the river to offer views of the water, downtown, and beyond.
