Casa Madrona Hotel Renovation and Addition

Situated on a lush hillside, Casa Madrona enjoys an uninterrupted view of Richardson Bay and the San Francisco skyline, while providing a high level of privacy and security to its guests. The project included the renovation and addition to the William G. Barrett House, a nationally registered historic mansion, into 11 luxury guest rooms and the Alexandrite Suite that includes an event space. Large sliding and accordion glass doors extend the living spaces onto stepped decks overlooking the water. The design of the interiors of the project employs modern details and interiors that complement, yet create a distinct contrast to the historical exterior and preserved period detailing.
