This year’s Open House San Diego (“OH! San Diego”) will take place March 9 & 10 and invites the public to tour significant architectural sites throughout San Diego.
Organized by the San Diego Architectural Foundation and now in its 10th year, OH! San Diego is a free public showcase that promotes appreciation of the urban environment through behind-the-scenes access to San Diego’s buildings and public spaces. This two-day event provides unique opportunities to learn about the influence of architecture and design in San Diego, and dialogue with architects and design enthusiasts about the future of San Diego’s built environment.
This year’s OH! San Diego lineup includes two Safdie Rabines projects, both located within UC San Diego’s campus: the oceanfront Ted and Jean Scripps Marine Conservation and Technology Facility at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and our award-winning Epstein Family Amphitheater just steps from the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley station. Public tours will be available at these locations on Sunday, March 10 from 1-4PM, with a few of our own SRA team volunteering as tour guides!
